Spider Solitaire Cube Review — Win Real Money

Spider Solitaire Cube Review — Win Real Money
I started playing Solitaire on my dad’s old Windows 98 PC. Then it was one of the only games that came bundled free with the operating system, so it wasn't like I had much of a choice. Anyways, I only played the game casually then. Fast forward a couple of years later and now people are taking advantage of mobile solitaire gaming apps to win real cash, among other prizes.
If I had known then that I can make money by playing solitaire, perhaps I might have taken it more seriously and worked on perfecting my skills. Anyway, no time like the present, right?
So here we are with my favorite solitaire game — Spider Solitaire. In this app review, I’ll be walking you through the ins and outs of specifically Spider Solitaire Cube by Tether Studios, LLC. If you regularly compete in mobile games that offer cash tournaments, you may have come across a number of classic card games by Tether Studios. These include games like Klondike Solitaire, 21 Blitz, Pyramid Solitaire Cube, and many more. You can view the full list of Tether Studios game apps here
With all that said, let’s get to the Spider Solitaire Cube review and how you can play the game to win real cash and other exciting rewards.

What is Spider Solitaire Cube?

Spider Solitaire Cube is a classic spider solitaire game designed to be played with others. The gameplay lets you compete with other people for rewards, including real cash prizes and virtual currency bonuses.
One of the best things about Spider Solitaire Cube is that it is available to iOS and Android users. Most other types of cash games are only available on one type of mobile operating system, but not this one. If you’re an iPhone or iPad user, find the game in your device’s Apple App Store. For Android phones and Samsung users, check your Google Play Store and Samsung Galaxy Store, respectively.
The game aims to stack the cards in descending order — Kings to Aces — before the time runs out. Once a set is stacked, it is cleared from the board and arranged neatly below the decks. Finish six stacks in the shortest time possible to win the game.
You can play head-to-head with other real players or participate in multiplayer tournaments to win real money. In competitive gameplay, both players wager real cash and play to solve the same deck. Each full stack you make earns you points. If you finish with the most points, you win the game and the staked rewards in the prize pool.

Earning money on Spider Solitaire Cube

This is a big part of this app review, so let’s get to it. How do I make money playing this particular solitaire game?
The first thing to know is that Spider Solitaire Cube is a Skillz-powered game app. Yes, it was developed by Tether Studios, but to facilitate the reward and cash prize element, the game is hosted on the Skillz platform. Skillz is an eSports platform that brings together fun mobile games and manages multiplayer tournaments and leaderboard rankings where players worldwide can compete and win real money.
This is why you and I can make money on this Spider Solitaire Cube app. The platform is home to many free games you can download and play for fun. After a couple of practice games, you can compete against other real players and work up tournament leaderboards to earn bigger rewards.
Anyway, to specifically answer the question of how to make money playing Spider Solitaire Cube, it is mainly through head-to-head games and cash tournaments.
These tournaments require a cash entry fee from each player. Usually, the lower the entry fee, the lower the value of the cash prizes that can be won. As you prove your skill and climb up the leaderboards, the stakes get higher, as do the rewards.
In addition to money, you can also win other real-world prizes, such as television sets, gift cards, luxury cruises, and more.

How do I withdraw the money I won?

As I mentioned earlier, competing in these tournaments means depositing cash into the designated account first. You can usually use your credit card or PayPal for this. All your winnings are placed in that same account.
You can then cash out your winnings from Skillz to your PayPal account anytime.

Bonus cash

As a regular player, you will start to accumulate bonus cash. This is another awesome feature because this bonus cash can be used to enter multiplayer tournaments. However, keep in mind that you can’t withdraw this cash. Instead, you can use it to bolster your original entry fee amount. Usually, your entry fee consists of real cash (90%) and bonus cash (10%), but you can also use a larger portion of your bonus cash if you don't have sufficient real cash to deposit.
Still, your winnings, including your entry fee, are withdrawable in real cash.

Playing Spider Solitaire Cube

Goal

Arrange the cards in a neat stack with Kings at the top and aces at the bottom. If there are more moves left on the main cards, you can draw new cards from the Draw pile to find more matches. You cannot undo a Draw action from the pile, so be careful how you tap.
The match ends once all the cards from the table and Draw piles have been stacked and cleared, or when the timer ends. Each match lasts 5 minutes.

Gameplay

The game begins with 78 cards in the same suit, meaning they can be all clubs, hearts, diamonds, or spades, depending on your settings. But only one suit for all the cards. These cards can then be grouped into six stacks of 13 cards each in sequential order — Aces to Kings.
The play area consists of two cards: the Tableau stacks and the Draw pile. At the start of the game, the Tableau stacks are arranged so that 30 cards are face-down and eight are face-up. You’ll need to drag and drop the cards and arrange them in descending order. For example, if there’s an eight facing up, you can only place a seven below it.
If there are no available cards, you can use among the tableau cards, tap on the Draw Pile to distribute one random card under each stack in the Tableau, then work on arranging them.
Once you clear a stack, it will be removed from the board, leaving an empty slot. Unlike Klondike Solitaire, you can place any card in the empty stack.

Scoring

There are two main ways to score points:
  • Base score refers to the points you score with each successful move. You get +200 points for every full stack you complete and +50 points each for revealing face-down cards in the tableau.
  • Time bonus — You get +4 points for every second left on the clock after completing the game.
It’s important to note that you can also lose points if you use the Undo function after revealing face-down cards in the tableau.

Spider Solitaire Cube's key features

Fair competitions

When competing in head-to-head matchups and pro-league tournaments, you will be paired against players of similar skill. This way, you have a fair chance of winning the match and claiming the prizes.
I encourage you to try out a few practice games before testing your skills in the cash games. When you feel confident enough to elevate your solitary experience, stake your bonus cash and deposit money to set up your match.

Win real prizes

Cash tournaments are available to players from over 75% of the world. Prove your skills and work up the leaderboards to compete for the big bucks. For players living in regions where prize tournaments are not enabled, such as Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Tennessee, and others, you can still enjoy a fun game and win virtual currency.

Smooth animation and fast touch controls

The team at Tether Studios worked hard to deliver a seamless gameplay experience across all devices. So whether on your Apple or Android device, expect a generally good user experience with smooth animation with intuitive controls.

The bottom line
